Trees Identified in Beckmickle Ing Wood

Beckmickle Expedition
Link to Woodland Trust ... Beckmickle Wood

Today we set off for our end of term expedition to Beckmickle Wood, where we collected leaves and identified a number of different trees for the Woodland Trust. Our expedition left school at 9:30 am and we arrived at the wood at 11:40 am. We followed maps and found our way with different children taking on the role of leaders.

When we arrived at the wood we started to collect samples of all the different types of tree leaves we could find so that later in school we could begin to identify them and then send our findings to the Woodland Trust website.
